NTA UGC NET Exam Expected Cutoff marks December 2021

University grant commission conducted a national level written examination for the junior research fellowship JRF and eligibility for assistant professor posts. This year NTA (National Testing Agency) got the responsibly to conduct National level eligibility test for the approximately 95 subjects. Every year many lakh post graduate candidates appearing in the UGC net examination but very few no of candidates declaring qualified due to revised qualifying criteria for preparing the merit list and cutoff list for  UGC Net examination.  UGC now using a scientific method for preparing the merit list of each subject. UGC prepared category wise merit for each subject which are General, OBC , SC, ST, PWD category. 

Cutoff merit will be prepared as are follows

Session	Paper	Marks	Number of Question
First	I	100	50 questions all are  compulsory
Second	II	200	100 questions all are  compulsory

Amongst those candidates who have cleared step-I, a merit list was prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.

Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step-II, were declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only
