Job Profile : Excavation work for pole erection or cable trench, lifting of poles and fixtures, lifting or carrying medium weight line materials, Tools and Plant Etc
Eligibility Criteria: education qualification: High School pass
Desirable qualification: knowledge of Kannada language .
Age limit: minimum 18 year and maximum 35 year for general merit , maximum 38 year for IIA, IIB , IIA , and IIB . Maximum 40 year for SC, ST, category.
Age will be calculated as on the last date of application form submission.
Salary : Pay scale rs 7350-15710 for Junior station attendant and rs 7350-15710
Selection Procedure: selection for KPTCL / BESCOM Line man posts will be done through the written examination and skill Test . first of all candidates will be called for written Test . on the performance in the written test a merit list will be prepared for skill Test .
Eligible candidates will be call for Endurance Test in the ratio of 1;5
Physical Fitness test will be also required for KPTCL Line man Job.
BESCOM Assistant Line man Endurance Test pattern as are following
100 meters Running: 14 seconds
Skipping : 50 times in one minute
Shot put 12 pounds : 8 meters throw (3 opportunities)
Climbing of Electric Pole : 8 meters height (compulsory)
800 meters running : 3 minutes.
Endurance test will be qualifying nature . However Climbing of electric pole will be compulsory to complete in maximum 2 attempt.
In the last document verification will be done for all candidates who will be declared qualified in the examination.
