NTA UGC NET JRF Examination Dec 2022 Notification

Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI), has established
National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self sustained premier organisation under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, registered as a self-reliant and
self-sustained premier testing organisation.  

NTA every year conduct National eligibility Test NET examination for lectureship and JRF junior Research fellowship- for Fellowship on behalf of University grant commission.  NTA UGC Net examination conducted twice in year. First examination is usually conducted on the last Sunday of June and 2nd examination is conducted last Sunday of December. CBSE UGC NET examination December 2022 will be conducted by NTA National Testing Agency.

 National Testing agency will conduct written examination on behalf of Vishwavidyalaya Anudan ayog. Official notification for Rashtriya patrata pariksha and Kanishtha Anusandhan   Adhyetavrti  will be published online  as well as offline in local news paper.

NET Certificate is compulsory for teacher higher classes.  NET qualified candidates can apply for Lecturer / Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Vyakhyata / Pravakta posts. If you also hold the eligibility criteria and you have completed your post graduation , then you can fill application for NET examination for the subject which you have opted in PG. UGC conducting this examination for more then 100 subjects.

Application form will be filled online after that candidates are required to submit application for to coordinating institution and universities.

It is notified that CBSE will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor which will be held on 2 to 6 December 2021. The candidates who desire to appear in the test may see the detailed notification available on the website NTA from  9 September to 10 October 2021 The candidates are required to apply online only from 9 September 2021. The last date for applying online is 10 October 2021 and fee can be paid up to 10 October 2021.

Important details of UGC NET examination December 2022

Candidates who qualify for the award of JRF are eligible to follow research in the subject of their pg and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. Candidates qualifying for Assistant Professor will not be considered for JRF.

Candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will be eligible to receive fellowship of UGC NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors in Universities/Colleges/Institutions

Examination Name:

 National Eligibility Test (NET)  which will be conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

Subject of UGC NET examination: CBSE / UGC will conduct NET in 100 subjects

Eligibility Criteria for UGC Net examination Dec 2022

Education qualification: Post graduate with at least 55 % marks and 50% for OBC, SC, PWD,

Appearing candidates in qualifying examination of posts graduation / master degree will be also considered for UGC net examination.

Age Limit: maximum age for JRF:  30 year   as on 1 December 2022
Upto 5 year Relaxation will provided for OBC, SC, ST, PWD category candidates.

There is no maximum age Limit for Eligibility for assistant professor posts.

Question paper pattern for UGC NET Examination Dec 2022

A nation level Online examination will be held in the month of December 2022 at various examination center of all over India. Computer Based examination will comprise two question papers.  All question of the written examination will be objective and MCQ based answer.

First paper of NET examination will be common for all candidates. 2nd paper will be related to subject for whom you want appear in this examination. 1st and 2nd question paper will carry 100 marks and 200 marks successively. Paper 1 will be held in first meeting morning shift. Paper 2 will be held in noon shift.

CBSE UGC NET Exam Expected Cutoff marks

Selection Procedure;

Selection of the eligible candidates for JRF and NET examination will be done on the performance of written examination. A national level merit will be prepared subject wise category wise for JRF and NET on the basis of marks secured by candidates in each paper separately and all the three paper aggregately. UpJob.in published the previous year cutoff data for UGC net examination June and December. This will be helpful you for analyzing the average qualifying marks / cutoff marks for declaring qualified in the NET examination.

Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list  will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only.

A separate merit list for the award of JRF will be prepared

Candidates appearing in NET should clearly specify in the Application Form whether they are applying for both JRF & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR only for Eligibility for Assistant Professor.

After part 1 online registration candidates are required to generate application form fee Challan and deposit application form fee. After paying application form fee just take a printout of dully filled application and send this to Coordinating institutes or university. Don’t send your application form for UGC office or CBSE office directly other wise it will be rejected.

Application form fee:

• rs 1000 for General category  
• rs 500 for  obc, and 
• rs 250 for SC, ST , PWD category .

Candidates have option to pay application form fee via Credit card / debit card / net Banking or By E Challan.

Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank challan, at any branch of (Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank ) or through credit/debit card.
