Uttar Pradesh Power corporation, UPPCL Lucknow has published the official
notification ADVT No U-38/UPRVUSA/2021 for the recruitment of Junior Engineer JE posts. Application
form is invited online for filling junior engineer posts. All interested
candidates who hold the eligibility Criteria they can apply on the official
website of UP PCL. These Junior Engineers JE will be appointed in
Distribution Companies(DISCoM) viz, Ujdnyanctrat Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited,
Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam
Limited, Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Kanpur Electric Supply
Company(KESCO), U.P. Power Transmission Corporation Ltd'(TRANSCO) and UPPCL
Corporate Offices under Uttar pradesh Power Corporation Ltd, UPPCL.

9300-34800 and grade pay of Rs 4200 + 400 Special Fitment grade

Eligibility Criteria:
Junior Engineer JE Trainee
Education Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Age limit as on 1 January 2021: 18
to 40 year (Relaxation in maximum age Limit will be given for reserved category
candidates)
Selection Procedure: selection
of the eligible candidates will be done through the online examination only.
Bharti pariksha of JE of UP Power Corporation will be held online. Written test
will be held at Allahabad , Varanasi ,
Gorakhpur , Agra , Kanpur , Bareilly , Lucknow , Ghaziabad , and Meerut
Question Paper pattern and
Syllabus of UPPCL JE exam:
Online examination of Power
Corporation will carry total 200 marks. Question paper contains 200 objective
type questions.
- 150 questions will be based on Diploma Level engineering subject.
- 20 questions will be asked from general knowledge and general awareness,
- 20 questions will be asked from reasoning and
- 10 questions will be asked from general Hindi subject.
Total 1 mark will be awarded for
each correct answer. Negative marking / minus marking will be applicable
in power corporation examination. For each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be
deducted.
Total 3 hour time duration will be
given for attempting the question paper.
Personal Interview test: this
time commission will not conduct any interview for final selection.
