Negative marking or minus marking will be applicable in the written examination of Railway avar abhiyanta bharti pariksha. For each incorrect answer 1/3 marks will be deducted as a negative marking.
Recruitment examination will be held online only at various examination centers.
Questions of the online test will be objective type and MCQ based. The questions papers will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and local languages.
Difficulty of the question paper will be generally in conventionality with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and Technical Ability.
The Question paper will have 150 questions, out of which 90 questions will be of Technical Ability & General Science and 60 questions from General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. The technical portion of 90 questions shall cover basic concepts of Science and Engineering from all the branches/disciplines of educational qualifications, prescribed for respective categories

How to apply: all interested candidates can fill application form online at the official website of RRB. Candidates are required to fill application for separately for each posts in case of when they are holding eligibility criteria for JE junior Engineer and SSE senior section engineer. Candidates can fill application form till the last date . Candidates who opt to pay examination fee through “SBI Challan” or “Computerized Post Office Pay-In-Slip (Service Charges apply)”
Application form fee: general and OBC rs 500 and 250 application form fee for SC /ST and ex service man / women / minorities / PWD / economically backward classes.
Candidates have option for paying application form fee online using Credit/Debit Card or Internet Banking. Exam fee can also be paid through SBI Branch or any computerized Post Office after downloading a pre-printed Challan/Pay-In-Slip. Ensure payment of exam fee is done only during the dates mentioned in the Challan/Pay-In-Slip.
