Staff selection commission SSC, published the official
recruitment Notification for inviting application form for the posts of Sub
Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPF and assistant Sub Inspector in CISF. Karamchari chayan ayog conducted a national level
likhit pariksha at various examination centers. More then 3 lakh
candidates appeared in the SSC SI / ASI Recruitment Examination of Sub
Inspector in DP and CAPF and ASI in CISF. Selection of the eligible candidates
SI in CAPF and SI Executive male in Delhi Police will be based on in the pay
scale of rs 9300-34800 and grade pay of rs 4200. Selected qualified candidates
for the posts of Assistant Sub Inspector ASI in CISF will be appointed in the
pay scale of rs 5200-20200 and grade pay of rs 2800. There are vacancies of SI in CISF, ASI in CISF, a SI
Executive in Delhi Police. There is no vacancy for the post of woman SI (Exe)
in Delhi Police for direct Recruitment.
Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on
through the written test, Physical Test.
Written test was held online at various examination
centers. Written test comprise two question papers. Paper 1 of SSC CPO SI / ASI
will carry 200 marks for 200 questions.
Question paper 1 of Delhi Police SI and
ASI comprise question from different subjects like General Intelligence and
Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness , Quantitative Aptitude and
English Comprehension. Total 2 hours time duration was given for attempting the
question paper.
Question paper 2 of Delhi Police SI / ASI comprises
questions from English language and Comprehension. Paper II of Delhi Police SI
/ ASI will carry 200 marks for 200 questions from English language and
comprehension. Total 2 hours time duration was given for attempting the
question paper.
Both question paper was objective type and MCQ based. Question
paper medium was Hindi and English language.
Minus marking / negative marking was applicable in this examination. For
each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as a negative marking.
Only those aspirant who will secure minimum qualifying marks
in Paper I of the written examination, as may be fixed by the Commission at
their discretion, will be call for Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ PST Physical
Efficiency Test and medical test. Paper-II of short listed candidates who
qualify in PST/PET will only be evaluated.

Questions paper of the written examination of SI/ ASI was
moderate level of difficulty.
Subject wise Question paper analysis as are following
General Intelligence and Reasoning:
Questions of General Intelligence were moderate level of
difficulty. Commission asked questions from each subject and topic of the
syllabus specified for SI and ASI exam. Question were asked from analogies,
similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem
solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination,
observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural
classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and
decoding, Statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.
General Knowledge and General Awareness: question of GK / and General awareness were
difficult and maximum no of candidates attempted only 24 to 30 questions out of
50 questions. If You attempted 20 to 25 questions in this section then I think
this will be safe score for this section.
English Comprehension: questions of English comprehension
were very easy. If you score 30 to 35
questions from English comprehension then I think this will be a safe score.
Quantitative Aptitude: Questions of Quantitative aptitude
was moderate level of difficulty
. Questions of math were lengthy and time consuming. If you score 32 to 35 marks in this section then I think
this will be safe score .

The pattern of the Staff Selection Commission SI/ASI
Examination conducted on /..........was similar to the one conducted last
year though the difficulty level of the paper has increased marginally. The
morning slot (10:00 a.m. to 12 noon) had a single unique question
