A very good news now coming for those who want make their career in teaching field.  If you want to be primary Teacher / assistant Teacher (Sahayak Adhyapak) in government Primary School (Parishadiya Prathmik vidyalaya), Upper Primary, Junior High School (Uccha Prathmik Vidyalaya), then UPBTC or D.el.ed ( Diploma In Elementary Education /Teacher Training Certificate ) is one of the essential qualifications. B.ed Degree holder can fill application form now Uccha Prathmik Adhyapak Bharti as well as primary Classes but BTC trained candidates can only fill application form for Primary School Teacher job.

These schools are conducted by basic siksha parishad that’s why these schools are also known as a Parishadiya Vidyalaya. Attractive salary of primary school now attracts professional degree holder for doing BTC program. Currently starting salary of Primary school teacher of Uttar pradesh is 43500  per month. Primary school teacher appointed in the pay scale of 9300-34800 and grade pay of rs 4200.

BTC is the acronym of basic Teacher certificate. BTC is a NCTE approved teacher training certified program which is designed for primary school teaching. This program is known as Two year Diploma in elementary Education.  Maximum all states conducting such type of program with different name but time duration of this program is 2 years.

BTC qualified or appearing candidates can fill application form for CTET both papers as well as UPTET both papers. As we know TET (teacher eligibility Test) is compulsory for the appointment in government school. So without having BTC certificate you can appear in CTET or UPTET.(More Info about UPTET )

BTC program offered by DIET (District institute of Education and Training) which is situating in each district. But seats are very less in DIET approximate there are only 10800 seats available in government DIET that’s why government provide affiliation to few private colleges for conducting the BTC program .

A graduation degree from any Discipline like B.A. , B.sc, B.com,  B.tech, MBBS, BCA, BBA, etc are eligible for filling application form for BTC program . Application form for BTC program is invited online from the eligible candidates. Official Cutoff and merit list will be prepared District wise and different categories like Male, Female, Science, ART, General, OBC, SC, ST, Ex service man and lots more. Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the academic marks percentage of High School, Intermediate and graduation marks percentage. Merit for district DIET Admission over very high of each district. Its trend that usually candidates have mark more then 77 % in class 10th, 12th and graduation got admission in DIET from the general category. Lower merit holder will get admission in private colleges, fee of private colleges is approximately 80 thousands per year and fee of government DIET Is 10200 per year. government now going to publish official advertisement for inviting application form for UP BTC 2022. Advertisement for inviting application for BTC / Deled will be published by SCERT (State council of education Research and training) for all districts. It’s expected that government will publish notification in June 2022.  Government already published the GO for inviting application form for BTC admission.

UP BTC Training (BTC Prashikshan)

This program is know as pre service teacher training program.

Total No seats in government DIET (Zila Siksha avam prashikshan Sansthan): approximately 11000

Total no of seats in Private BTC Training Colleges:  approximately 40000

District of the seats: 50% Seats are for Female and 50 % seats are for male.

50% seats are for Science and 50% seats are for Art Discipline. 

Seats will be distributed on institute level.

Reservation will be applicable for OBC, SC, ST and other sub categories . 

UP Domicile Certificate : only Citizens of UP can fill application form for BTC. Candidates are required to submit Domicile Certificate (Nivas praman patra ) issued by Tehsil / DM office / SDm office , at the time of counselling.  Domicile certificate will be required of the home district of the applicant.  Without submission of niwas praman patra, during counselling, / Document verification, your candidature will be rejected . 

Eligibility Criteria; Education qualification:  Graduation Degree with at least 50 % marks . reserved category candidates will get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks .

Age limit:   Minimum 18 year AS on 1 July 2022 and maximum 35 year as on 1 July 2022 .

Selection procedure : Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the academic merit . a merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate high School , Inter, and graduation

Intermediate with Science / agriculture stream / B.sc / B.sc AG ,  B.sc Home science , B.tech , BCA, etc degree holder will consider as a Science Group .

BA , B.com , BBA and intermediate art group Qualified candidates , will be consider as ART group . 

Group will be decided on the basis of your group of Intermediate program.

Cutoff list , merit list will be prepared on district level.

After that candidates will be call for document verification and counselling.
