Salary : Pay scale 9300-34800 , Grade pay 5400 

Eligibility criteria: education qualification:  Graduation degree 

Age Limit:  minimum age will be calculated as on 1 March 2022 and maximum age will be calculated as on 1 august 2022

maximum age limit 35 years for Un reserved candidate, SC , ST male and female 40 , OBC 37 , Female of UR , OBC , 38 

Minimum age for Jharkhand administrative services, social security, finance, education, cooperative, planning services will be 21 years,

Minimum age for State police services will be 20 year.

Minimum age for information service will be 22 years.

Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in maximum age limit.

Selection procedure: selection of the eligible candidates for Jharkhand civil services will be based on through the preliminary examination, mains exam and personal interview test.

Pre exam of Jharkhand PCS will comprise one objective type question paper which will carry 200 marks Each. 

A : General study Paper 1  TIME 2 Hr, Max Marks 200

    History of India and Indian national movement

    Indian word geography

    Indian Politics and economy

    History , geography , economy , and culture of Jharkhand

B: General study GS paper II maximum marks 200 total time 2 hr

    General Science

    General Mental ability

    Current event of state, national, and international importance

All questions of pre exam will be objective and MCQ based . Question paper medium will be Hindi and English language. Total 2 hour time duration will be given for each question paper for attempting the questions paper.

Mains examination question paper pattern and syllabus

Compulsory subject:

            General Hindi 100 marks

            General study Question paper 1 , 200 marks

            General study Question paper 2 , 200 marks   

Mark obtained by the candidates in general Hindi will not added in final merit candidates are required to score minimum 30% qualifying mark in general Hindi  subject other wise they will be declared disqualified.

Each optional subject will contain two question papers which will carry 200 marks 

Total 3 hours time duration will be given for attempting the question paper.

Personal interview test: JPSC will conduct personal interview test for all those candidates who will be declared qualified in the pre exam and main examination. personal interview test will carry total 200 marks. 

Minimum qualifying cutoff marks : general : 40 % marks , OBC 36.5% marks , OBC E 34%,  SC / ST and Female 32%

12-13 times of proposed no of vacancies candidates will be declared qualified in pre examination. 3 time of proposed no of vacancies will be declared qualified in mains examination will call for interview test.

Application form fee: rs 600  for general category, OBC I, OBC – II

SC, ST, of Jharkhand 150 + bank charges 

PWD candidates will get relaxation in 40% of exam fee but required to pay bank charges and portal charge.

Candidates are required to pay application form fee through SBI E challan form.
