प्रमाण पत्रों की मान्यता- acceptance of Certificates
भारत सरकार की सेवाओं में केवल जिला अधिकारी द्वारा निर्गत प्रमाण पत्र ही मान्य होते हैं। तहसील कार्यालय से निर्गत  प्रमाण पत्र केवल राज्य सरकार की सेवाओं के लिए मान्य होते हैं।

प्रमाण पत्रों की वैधता- validly of Certificates
जाति प्रमाण पत्र- यह प्रमाण पत्र तब तक वैध होता है जब तक कि भारत सरकार या राज्य सरकार की ओर से कोई नया आरक्षण नियम अथवा जाति सूची संशोधन  न किया जाय।

निवास प्रमाण पत्र-   यह प्रमाण पत्र तब तक वैध होता है जब तक कि व्यक्ति अपना निवास स्थान नहीं बदलता है। निवास स्थान में परिवर्तन होने पर नया प्रमाण पत्र आवश्यक है।

आय प्रमाण पत्र-  यह प्रमाण पत्र केवल 6 माह तक वैध होता है। 6 माह के बाद  नया प्रमाण पत्र आवश्यक है।
