National Council of Educational Research and Training
(NCERT) has Published a notification regarding National Talent Search
Examination-2022 only for those Indian students who, are studding in Class
standard 10th. NTSE exam is conducted every year for searching talents at two
levels, Stage-I and Stage-II. Stage-I is related to State level and Stage-II is
related to National level. All Indian students who, are studding in abroad in
class standard 10th can apply directly for Stage II (National level) NTS exam, for this more instructions and NTS brochure are given in NCERT website (www.ncert.nic.in).
About Scholarships: Fund Provide under the NTSE scholarship
Rs.1250/- per month for Class-XI to
XII
Rs.2000/- per month for
Undergraduates and Post-graduates.
For Ph.D. Program scholarship is according to UGC norms
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship:
All appearing students in high school can fill application
form for NTSE scholarship for STAGE I examination which will be conducted by
state / Union
Territory. First of all
written examination will be conducted on state level by UT / State level.
However there will be no domicile restriction. Students of ODL Open Distance learning will also be eligible for
scholarship.
Selection Procedure: selection of the eligible candidates
will be based on through the written examination. First of all written test will
be held of State level. All those candidates will be declared qualified in STAGE
I examination they will be call for STAGE 2 examination.
STAGE Level I examination Pattern of NTSE:
Stage I examination at the state / UT level will comprise of
two part, namely
Mental Ability test MAT
Language Test LT
Scholastic Aptitude test SAT
Examination Pattern and Time for stage II

There are three sections, which is
shown below. Language test is only for qualifying (obtained marks will not be
counted for merit list). There will be negative marking also, for each wrong
answer marks will reduced by one –third (1/3rd).

Qualifying Marks for national level examination:
40% marks in each paper for General category candidates.
35% marks in each paper for SC, ST and PH category
people.
Examination Center/Place and their Code: There are 36 centers
at different district in India and 47 centers are in
Abroad.

How to Apply
Indian students, who are studding in abroad can fill the
application form and must attach 9th standard mark sheet and send it to NCERT
till last date 29.02.2022
Show the name of state /UT (examination place/centre) in
cover letter of the application form, because there are 36 centers in different
states.

Application form must be attest by principal by concerned
school.
Application Form FEE: All student who want fill application
for the can collect application form from District Education officer. State and
IT may notify the fee required which will be Paid for the stage Level I
examination
Note: all the information is same for the stage I (state
level) NTS Examination
Except, last date for submission of the
form is 1st February 2022 and students studding in abroad are exempted for state
level NTS exam.
Important Dates: Exam will be held by NCERT at 36 centers in
India only.
