TNSET 2016 - FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Notification

NOTIFICATION FOR TAMIL NADU STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (TNSET-2016) FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

TAMIL NADU STATE Government has published a notification for recruiting Assistant Professor for Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal (MTWU), and Tamil Nadu On behalf of UGC.the State Eligibility Test (TNSET-2016) will be held on

 21.02.2016 (SUNDAY) for determining the eligibility for Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu universities and colleges. MTWU will conduct TNSET-2016 exam in 25 subjects at 16 selected Centers spread across the state. The result of the TNSET-2016 examination will be  available on the websites: www.setexam2016.in. starting date for filling on line form is 20th January 2016 .All eligible candidate can fill the application form till 10th February 2016. Important details are given below  
Eligibility criteria: educational qualification

Candidate must have Post Graduation / Master degree in concerned subject.

Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the Master’s Degree (final year)

examination and whose result is still awaited can also appear for this test.

The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s Degree completed on or before 19th September 1991 are also eligible.

The community certificates submitted by the candidates must be issued

by the competent authority.

Job Location: Tamilnadu 

Age Limit:

There is no upper age limit for applying for TNSET- 2016 examination.

Salary: As per the norms of Tamilnadu government.

Examination pattern: question paper pattern and durations of the paper

TNSET-exam is an OFFLINE exam having 3 sections. Each section contain objective type question (multiple choice question), each Questions are of two marks.

Syllabus: Syllabus for TNSET examination will be the same as UGC/CSIR-NET.so for attending Mother Teresa Women’s University Kodaikanal exam; candidates can downloaded syllabus from UGC website www.ugc.ac.in.

Admit Card :  candidates can uploaded Admission card from the website  www.setexam2016.in.

How to Apply: Candidate must apply online only on the MTWU website: www.setexam2016.in for appearing the test (TNSET-2016)

The candidates can pay the examination fee either by credit/ debit card or through e-challan (In case of e-challan the payment should be paid through SBI).

Candidate must filled their CATEGORY, like GENERAL/BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST/

PWD, in the relevant column correctly.

Candidate must filled their subject and centre of examination and code in the

relevant column correctly.

Printout of online application (Confirmation Page) should be kept by the candidate for

further reference.

No applications can be submitted after the last date 10.02.2016.

Answer keys of all the question papers will be displayed on the website.

Examination Fee and Mode of Payment

Rs 1500/- for General category

Rs 1225/- for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes (MBC) / Denotified

Communities (DNC) categories.

Rs 500/- for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Persons with Disability

   (SC/ST/PWD) category
