TNPSC VAO Exam Expected Cutoff Marks answer key 2022 Application Form

Tamil Nadu Public service commission published the official recruitment notification  for inviting online application form for the posts of village administrative officer VAO posts. Notification is published for filling total 494 posts of VAO . Selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale 5200-20200 and grade pay of rs 2400. Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination. Written test was held by Tamil Nadu Lok sewa ayog on ............. at various examination centers from all over TN. Written test was held from 10 am to 1 Pm. Total 3 hours was given for attempting the question paper. 

More then 2 lakh candidates appeared in the TNPS VAO examination.

Question paper analysis of the TNPSC VAO Recruitment

There was only one question paper in VAO examination which will carry maximum 300 marks for 200 questions. All aspirant are required score at least 90 qualifying marks for qualifying in this examination.

Difficulty level of the questions was S.S.L.C. Standard. All questions were objective type and MCQ based.

Questions paper was divided in 4 sections.

Questions of 1st section were related from general study. Total 75 questions contains from this section.  question of GS was asked from Different subject like Generals science, Physics, chemistry, Botany , zoology, , Current event History , Political science, geography , economics, science, , Geography , History and culture of Indian and TN, Indian polity , Indian economy , Indian national movement, aptitudes and mental ability test, etc .

Total 25 questions was asked from basic of Village Administration section.   

Maximum no of question for Village Administration was related from Village administrative officer roles and responsibility , Land,  revenue,  forest lands and resources, Adivasis / Tribal Records of revenue administration dealt with or handled by the VAO including ‘A’ Register, Patta, Chitta Adangal etc.

Total 20 questions were asked from Aptitude and mental ability test.

Total 80 questions were asked from general Tamil and general English. 

Questions were related from matching the words, synonyms, antonyms,  (Prefix, Suffix, grammar,  Literature , Authors and their Literary Works,

Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for

Answering the 80 items apart from answering the 120 (75+25+20) items on General Studies, Basics of Village Administration and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test.

The 80 questions on General Tamil/ General English will be set in the respective languages and the remaining 120 questions will be set both in English and Tamil.
