General insurance Corporation of India GIC published the
official recruitment notification for inviting online application form for Scale
I officer posts.
GIC Re, the ‘Indian Reinsurer’ and 14th largest Reinsurance
Company in the world fully owned by Government of India with the network in
India . all eligible Graduates / Post Graduates candidates who hold the
eligibility criteria they can fill application form for 33 Officers in the cadre
of Assistant Managers (Scale-I) to be based in its offices in India and abroad
(primarily to be posted in Head Office, Mumbai) and will be liable to be posted
anywhere in India as well as abroad as per the requirement of the Corporation.

Selection Procedure; selection of the
eligible candidates will be based on through the written test, Group Discussion,
and personal interview test. Maximum marks will be 200 for written test,
and GD / pI .

The Descriptive English Test will be conducted only through
online mode. Questions will be displayed on the screen of your computer. Answers
are to be typed using the keyboard in English . Before
start of typing answers to questions in Descriptive Paper, please check all key
functions of the keyboard.
Total test timing 150 minutes. 30
minutes for Domain knowledge, 60 minutes for Part B objective and 60 minutes for
Part C (descriptive). Candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and
interview on the basis of overall marks scored in objective and descriptive
section taken together against full marks of 150.

Can anyone please tell me what is the syllabus or how to prepare for Higher Order Reasoning Ability/Critical Thinking for GIC Assistant Manager Scale I General Stream.
