Free LPG Connection by PMUY UJJWALA Yojana Application Form In Hindi

Prime minister of India recently launched the latest more popular government Scheme Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala yojana for free LPG connection and other Initiative in the welfare of poor families. Ministry of petroleum and natural gas will executive this scheme.  Under the Ujjwala yojana CCEA recently launched rs 8000 crore for the next 3 years starting from financial year 2016 – 2017. Government decide to provide 5 crore LPG connection to below the poverty level BPL families.  Prime minister of India mr narendra modi announced regarding this scheme in Budget and made budgetary provision of rs 2000 crore  in the current financial year.

In India, There are very limited usage of LPG and Rural areas and not so much in urban arrear that’s why citizens of rural areas and urban area are using fossil fuel and conventional fuel like cow dung. These conventional fuels have serious implication for cook, women and chilled inside the Home and other place. Recently world health organization WHO published their report that 5 lakh die every year due to heart disease, pulmonary disease that’s why government decided to discourage these  fuel and encouraging the LPG usages in Rural and urban areas also .  .

Such pollution are also responsible for major cause of acute respiratory diseases in young children also.

About the PMUY | Free LPG connection for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana

Government decided to Distribute free LPG connection for BPL families in Rural and urban areas. 

Approximately 5 crore connection will be provide to BPL families with a support of rs  1600.

A single lpg connection will be distribute to each BPL family. Under this scheme LPG connection will be given in the name of women beneficiary of BPL families. 

State government and central government will select the beneficiary on consultation,

Government will also provide EMI facility for meeting the cost of stove and refill cost of cylinder .

The PMUY scheme will come into force from 1 April 2016.

Cash Assistant  / Financial for New LPG connection : this will cover the initial cost  rs 1600 for providing an connection and this gas assistant would be provide by the government for each New LPG connection .

Selection Procedure and Eligibility Criteria: selection of the eligible beneficiary would be from the BPL families will be done on priority basis.  Only SC /ST / weaker section of society of BPL category are eligible for this scheme.  While providing the new free LPG Gas connection to BPL household, priority would be give to those state which have lower LPG coverage compared to other areas.

A women of BPL household, which odes not access to lpg connection at the state of new scheme, may fill application form gas connection in prescribe application for the lpg distributor. 

Following document like address, jandhan  / bank account and adhar  number  are compulsory for getting the benefit of those scheme . if there are no aadhar of women of the family then UIDAI will coordinate for issue of aadhar Number to the women of BPL household.

LPG connection will be issued by OMC to eligible beneficiary after fulfilling the all the eligibility criteria. 

OMC have option for provide EMI facility for new consumer for purchasing the store and first refill.

OMC will also organize mela at various locations for release the new LPg connection to BPL families under the presence of public and distinguished guest of the area. 

Under this yojana government will provide all type of sizes of cylinder like 14.2 KG, and 5 KG depending on the field situation.

How to apply for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana:  all eligible candidates who want apply for LPG connection and hold the eligibility criteria; they can fill application form in prescribed application form proforma for this scheme. Applicants are required to fill application form in prescribed application form format. After that applicant are advised to submit the application form at nearest LPG dealer.  Only those BPL families who don’t have any LPG connection prior to this scheme can fill application form. Following document must be attach with application form.

• BPL certificated issue by panchayat adhikari or Nagar palaika adhyan
• BPL ration card
• One Photo ID card like aadhar card
• One passport size photograph
• Driving license
• Lease agreement
• Voter ID card / telephone bill / water  / electricity bill
• Certificates issue by Gazetted officer
• Ration card / Flat / Lic policy / bank credit card   etc
• Details will be provide by LPG distributor regarding which and how many document will be required to getting the benefit of this scheme. 

After submitting the application form LPG official will math the details of application form and BPL status of the family like name, address and others .
