Awas Sahayta yojana UP: Objective: state government of uttar pradesh continuously working in the welfare of Poor families, labour, worker and construction labour. Many of construction worker who are poor but his name is not added in BPL list that’s why they are not eligible for any type of government housing schemes. Government launched
आवास सहायता योजना ( Housing Assistance Plan ) for such poor labour and construction worker. Under the scheme of Awas Sahayta yojana, government provide housing grant for needy person.

Eligibility criteria:
- all registered nirman shramik (निर्माण श्रमिक) are eligible for this scheme who submits their contribution on regularly.
- Each family will be treated as unit.
- Beneficiary or its family must not have own family home .
- If applicant are already getting benefit from other central government housing scheme like Indira Gandhi Awas yojana, or state government scheme like lohia Awas yojana then they are not eligible for this scheme.
- Worker must have their own land or must have land in the name of family.
- Priority will be given for such worker whose resident district and working district is same.
- Each labour will get benefit of this yojana only once in life time.
- If wife and husband both are registered then wife will get benefit of this scheme.
Financial help provided by the government: Fund Details
- Government will provide rs 100000 in two installments.
- Rs 15000 for the maintenance of the home.
Each beneficiary will not get both financial help at the same time.
Each family contains member like husband, wife, unmarried son of less then 21 year, unmarried girls and dependant parents.
All financial help will be provided by Uttar pradesh bhawan avam sannirmana board (Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Board)
How to apply: all eligible candidates can fill application form in prescribed application form format.
Attach following document will application form
- Identity certificate photo copy issued by the nirman shramik board
- Photocopy of niwas praman patra
- Ownership of land and photocopy of land records.
- Affidavit regarding applicant or his family member or not getting any other housing scheme benefit of central government of state government.
