Union public service commission published the official EXAMINATION NOTICE for inviting online application form for INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE/INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2022. All eligible candidates who hold the eligibility criteria they can fill application form online till the last date 26 April 2022. Notification is published for filling total 32 posts of IES Indian economics service and 14 posts of Indian Statistical services.

Education qualification:
For Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Economtrics
For the Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master's
Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics
Selection process: selection of the eligible candidates will be based on though the written examination followed by personal interview test.
Negative marking will be applicable in the written examination. Question of the written examination will be objective type and MCQ based.

The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan—
Part I-Written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks in the subjects as shown

Part II-Viva voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission carrying a
maximum of 200 marks.
