Staff selection commission conducted a National level written
examination for the recruitment to the posts of multi tasking staff non
technical category in different state and union territories 2021. Notification
for the SSC MTS vacancy was published in 2021. More then 5
lakh candidates filled application form for Staff selection commission multi
tasking examination. Selected candidates will be appointed in the pay scale of
5200- 20200 and grade pay of 1800. Revised and updated salary of newly SSC MTS
employee according to 7th pay commission will be CPC matrix level 1. These MTS
will be appointed as Group C staff in central government service in various
Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States /
Union Territories. All High school pass candidates
having age of 18- 25 year, filled application form of this vacancy.
Selection for the posts of Staff selection commission multi
tasking posts will be based on through the written examination. SSC MTS written
examination comprise two question papers.
Question paper 1 was objective type and MCQ based.
Question paper 2 will be descriptive type.

Written examination 1st question paper contains 150 questions which will carry
maximum 150 marks. Total 2 hr time
duration was given for attempting the question paper. Examination was held in two shifts. First
shift examination was held from 10 am to 12 noon and 2nd shift examination was
held from 2 pm to 4 Pm.
Negative marking is also applicable in this examination. For
each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as a minus marking.
All those candidates who will be declared qualified in the
paper 1 examination they will be call for Paper 2 examination. Paper II will be
qualifying nature only. This paper will
be descriptive type. Question will be
asked from short essay / letter in English or any language. This paper will carry maximum 50 marks. Total 30 hr time duration will be given for
attempting the question paper.
Paper-II will be held only for such candidates who meet the
cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories. The
date and time of the Paper will be communicated to short listed candidates in
due course

General Intelligence and reasoning test: total 25 questions
were asked from this section which will carry maximum 25 marks. Questions from
this section were non verbal type.
Maximum no of questions was asked from questions on similarities and
differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision
making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure
classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. these
questions was based on symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation
and other analytical functions. Difficulty of the question was moderate
level. And maximum no of questions time
consuming.
If you attempted 15- 18 Questions from this section correct
then I think this will be safe score.
Numerical Aptitude test: total 25 questions were asked from
high school level simple arithmetic. Math section will carry maximum 25 marks
for 25 questions. Maximum no of question was asked from problems relating to
Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and
relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages,
Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of
Table
Question was math Difficult, and if you attempted 14 - 15
questions from this section, then I think this will be safe score. Stander of the questions was difficult.
English Language:
total 50 questions were asked from this section. Maximum no of questions
was asked from vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and
its correct usage, etc
Question of English was easy. Approximately 27-28 questions
you can easily attempt from this section.
General awareness: total 50 Questions was asked from General
knowledge GK, general awareness and current affairs section. General study section will carry maximum 50
marks. Maximum no of questions was
related from India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to
Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including
Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. questions of GS was difficult.
If you attempted 25 to 28 questions from this section then I think this will be
safe score for GS.
