Divyang (Viklang ) , ministry of social justice and empowerment, government of
India, published the official latest scholarship
list for students with disabilities. All the following scholarship scheme are
applicable to students with disabilities with more then 40% and having proper
disability certificate to this effect issued by competent medical authority, disability
is a defined in right of personal with disability act 2016
All PWD scholarship list for students with disabilities
Scheme name: pre Matric scholarship for student with disability
Course Covered: class
9th and class 10th
Number of scholarship per year: 46000
Parental income per year: 2 lakh
Rate of scholarship: scholarship of rs 350 per day scholarship, and rs 600 per month for hostellers plus book and ad hoc grant and other allowance like transport allowance, reader allowance etc
How to apply: these three scholarship scheme are begin implemented through national scholarship portal. Candidates can fill application form online at the official website of Scholarship gov in scholarships.gov.in

Course Covered: class 11th to master degree or diploma level
Number of scholarship per year: 16650
Parental income per year: 2.5 lakh per year
Rate of scholarship: there are different rate of maintenance allowance
for post graduate, graduate, diploma, professional course leading to degree, diploma
etc.
In different discipline it range from rs 650 to 1200 per month for hosteller and rs 400 -550 per month for
day scholar plus tuition fee maximum ceiling rs 1.5 lakh per annum , book
allowance, and other allowance like transport, reader allowance etc

Scheme name: scholarship for top class education for students
with disabilities
Course Covered: post graduates degree or diploma in 40
notified institutes or excellence
Number of scholarship per year: 160
Parental income per year: 6 lakh
Rate of scholarship: minority maintenance allowance of rs
3000 for hostellers rs 1500 for day scholarship, rs 2000 per month disability allowance,
book grant rs 5000 per annum and tuition fee upto rs 2 lakh

overseer scholarship for students with disabilities
Course Covered: master degree and doctorate degree in foreign universities
aboard
Number of scholarship per year: 20
Parental income per year: 6 lakh
Rate of scholarship: maintenance allowance of pound great Brittan
9900 per year, for UK and US % 15400 per year and for other countries plus tuition
fee, contingency allowance cost or air passage etc

Parental income per year: No income ceiling
Rate of scholarship: monthly rs 25000 for JRF first two year
and rs 28000 for SRF (3rd year onward upto complete duration of the course) and
contingency grant, escort allowance, reader allowance, and house rent allowance
How to apply: selection
is done by the University grant commission UGC. The candidates may line to apply
online in the official website of UGC which is www.ugc.ac.in
No application is required to be sent to Department of
empowerment of person with disability.

Online application for Divyang Pension has started. All such Divyang who are not getting the benefit of pension scheme can apply online by going to the pension portal Uttar Pradesh SSPY-UP.gov.in. To get pension, one must have at least 40% disability and above 18 years of age.
Divyang is given ₹ 500 pension and disabled persons with leprosy are given 250 monthly pension. This scheme will greatly improve the standard of living of PwD.
In the year 2021, 24386 people were given the benefit of this scheme in Prayagraj.

सहायक उपकरण योजना / sahayak upkran Yojana
Under the accessories scheme, artificial limbs are provided to the disabled and free of cost, you can submit your application form at www.UpHWD.gov.in Vikas Bhawan. You have to submit your application to the office of Jila Divangjan Sashktikarn Adhikari. Tri-cycles are also made available under this scheme.
