Free laptop distribution scheme of Uttar Pradesh Government was the scheme of the Government of Uttar Pradesh headed by Akhilesh Singh Yadav of Samajwadi Party. Under the scheme 1.5 million laptops to Class 12-pass students of the state were distributed.

लखनऊ : प्रदेश सरकार अब 1.46 लाख मेधावियों को दे सकती है लैपटॉप उत्तर प्रदेश में हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाले मेधावियों के लिए एक बड़ खुशखबरी है। यूपी सरकार की लैपटॉप वितरण योजना में अब तकरीबन पहले से दोगुने छात्रों को सरकार का यह तोहफा मिल सकेगा। पिछले साल और इस साल हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाले जितने मेधावियों को लैपटॉप वितरण की योजना बनाई गई थी, अब उसमें करीब-करीब 100 फीसदी का इजाफा हो सकता है।

दसअसल सरकार ने मेधावियों को वितरित करने के लिए लैपटॉप की जो कीमत आंकी थी, HP उससे लगभग आधे दाम में लैपटॉप देने को तैयार है।मंगलवार को यूपी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स कार्पोरेशन की ओर से खोली गई बिड में ह्यूलेट पैकर्ड (एचपी) ने सबसे कम रेट कोट किया है।सरकार ने लैपटॉप की अनुमानित कीमत 25 हजार रूपये आंकी थी। जिसके तहत प्रत्येक वर्ष 39600 मेधावियों को लैपटॉप बांटने की योजना है।मालूम हो कि पिछले साल सरकार लैपटॉप नहीं खरीद सकी थी।इसके बाद सरकार ने तय किया कि पिछले वर्ष और इस वर्ष के मेधावियों के लिए एक साथ लैपटॉप खरीदे जाएंगे।सरकार ने पिछले वर्ष और इस वर्ष के मेधावियों को लैपटॉप देने के लिए  के वित्तीय बजट में 100-100 करोड़ रूपये आवंटित किये थे।

एचपी ने दी सबसे कम कीमतः

यूपी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स कार्पोरेशन से आमंत्रित बिड में एचपी, डेल, एसर और लेनेवो ने क्वालिफाई किया था।इन चारों कंपनियों ने ट्रायल के लिए अपने लैपटॉप दिये थे, जिसमें लेनेवों का लैपटॉप कुछ मानकों पर खरा नहीं उतर पाया।इसके बाद फाइनेंशियल बिडिंग में सिर्फ एचपी, डेल और एसर की निविदताएं ही खोली गईं।जिसमें एचपी ने सबसे कम 13490 रूपये में लैपटॉप देने की पेशकश की।जो कि सरकार के अनुमानित मूल्य से तकरीबन आधा है।दोनो वर्षों के बजट से सरकार ने जहां 79200 लैपटॉप खरीदने की योजना बनाई थी।अब लैपटॉप की कीमत आधी होने से 1,46,000 लैपटॉप खरीदे जा सकेंगे।

इससे पहले 2013 में जब सरकार ने 15 लाख लैपटॉप खरीदने के लिए टेंडर मांगे थे, तब भी एचपी ने सबसे कम रेट कोट करके लैपटॉप आपूर्ति का टेंडर हासिल किया था।
