UPPSC APO Exam Expected Cutoff marks Official UP Assistant Prosecution Officer Result Mains 2022

Uttar pradesh Public service commission conducted a state level written examination for the recruitment of assistant prosecution officer. / Written examination was held on 16 February 2020 at various examination centers all over uttar pradesh. More then 18784  candidates appeared in the APO bharti pariksha. Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the Pre exam, Main exam and personal interview test. First of all a pre test was held for screening purpose for all candidates. 

All candidates who will be declared qualified in the preliminary examination they will be call for mains examination. ‘In the last, those candidates who will be declared qualified in the pre and mains examination they will be call for personal interview test. 

Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in mains examination and personal interview test.  presently the no of vacancies are 17 including different categories l .

 Selected candidates for APO posts will be appointed in the pay scale of 9300-34800 and grade pay of rs 4800.

Expected Cutoff Marks analysis for UPPSC APO written Exam 2022

APO preliminary examination will carry total 150 marks for only one question paper. Total 2 Hours time duration was given for attempting the questions paper of Asstt. Prosecutionofficer Pre Question paper was divided in two parts.

First of the question paper contains 50 questions from general knowledge which will carry 50 marks. Questions were asked from different subject and day to day happenings around India and the world with special reference to following topics.  

Subject wise question of GS section were asked as are following 

(a) General Science 8

(b) Current Events of National and International Important 10

(c) History of India 8

(d) Indian National Movement 8

(e) Indian Polity & Economy 8

(f) World Geography and Population 8

Many of our friend also appeared in the APO examination. They share their view regarding the how was the examination. GS / GK question of the APO was difficult. Maximum no of aspirant solved approximately 15 to 20 questions correctly out of 50 questions. So it think if you attempted 30 – 35 questions correct then it will be safe score for qualifying in Preliminary examination .

Part II of pre examination was asked from Law Subject. Questions of law subject coverd topic of Acts and law with no of questions indicated as under topics

1. Indian Penal Code 35

2. Indian Evidence Act. 25

3. Criminal Procedure Code 25

4. U.P. Police Act and Regulations under this Act. 15

Questions of LAW subject were easy to attempt for law graduates. Average no of aspirant attempted 60-65 questions correct so I think cutoff will be above 70 for this section. If you attempted 70 to 75 Questions out of 100 questions then I think this will be safe score for crack for preliminary examination.
