Union Public service Commission conducted a national level written civil
service examination for Indian Administrative services IAS, Indian Police
services IPS, and other government services . Sangh lok Seva Ayog will
conduct IAS Preliminary examination 05 June 2022
at various examination centers all over India. More then 5 lakh candidates
appeared in UPSC IAS bharti pariksha 2022. Selection for the IAS, IPS, IFS and
other services will be based on through the written exam Pre, mains
examination and personal interview test.
Question paper analysis of UPSC CS Pre examination 2022
Questions Paper 1
Preliminary examination comprises two question paper of general Study GS
(samanya adhyayan) . Questions paper 1 of UPSC CS will carry total 200 marks.
Total 2 hours time duration was given for attempting the question paper.
Questions of GS paper 1 was asked from different subject and topic like
Current events of national and international importance , History , Indian
National movement , Indian and world geography , Physical, Social, Economic
Geography of India and the World etc . Questions of UPSC IAS pre exam 2022 were difficult in comparison to previous year examination. This year
Commission asked questions from all syllabus specified for Pre examination.
Maximum no of questions were asked from Indian Polity and Governance -
Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues,
Economic and Social Development, Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion,
Demographics, Social Sector initiatives etc .
Commission also asked questions from General issues on Environmental -
Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require subject
specialization and general science questions were littlie bit difficult.
Question paper 2 : Questions of CSAT question paper 2 will carry total
200 marks . total 2 hours time duration was given for attempting the questions
paper. Questions CSAT were
difficult and time Consuming.
Questions of CSAT paper II were asked from Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills; Logical reasoning and analytical ability , Decision-making and problem- solving , General mental ability , Basic numeracy .
Maximum no of questions were asked from numbers and their relations, orders of
magnitude, Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc .
difficulty of Basic numeracy was high school . how ever CSAT questions were
difficult .
Question paper II of Civil service will qualifying nature and candidates are
required score minimum 33% marks qualifying in civil service written
examination.
Expected cutoff Marks for 2022 Civil service Preliminary examination
