Agricultural scientist recruitment board, Indian council of agricultural research ICAR going to publish the official notification, for Agricultural research service preliminary examination 2019 in
combination with national eligibility TEST 2019 . Krishi vaigyanik bharti board
will conduct a combined ARS 2019 preliminary examination (Krishi anusandhan seva
prarambhik bharti pariksha
) with NET 2019 (Rashtriya patrata pariksha) . This
examination will be held on between may 2020 . Examination will
be held online mode at various examination center of all over
India. All those candidates who will
be declared qualified in the Pre exam of ARS they will be call for mains
examination which will be held on July 2020.
ICAR ARS pre exam will be qualifying nature and marks of
online examination will not be added in final merit perpetration. In the last
personal interview test will be held for all candidates who will declared
qualified din the main examination. Finally qualified candidates will be
appointed as scientist in Agricultural research service ARS of Indian council of
agricultural research ICAR in the Pay Band-III of 15,600-39,100 plus Research
Grade Pay of 6,000. NET examination will
be also held by ICAR.
National Eligibility Test (NET) is a qualifying examination
for determining eligibility for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in
the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). Candidates clearing
the National Eligibility Test will be eligible to apply for the post of
Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs/AUs. NET certificates will be
issued by the ASRB to the qualified candidates to enable them to apply against
vacancies to be notified or advertised by the State Agricultural

Salary : Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS)
of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in the Pay Band-III of
15,600-39,100 plus Research Grade Pay of 6,000/-.
Education qualification:
ARS 2019/ NET 2019 : Post graduation / PG / master Degree in
concerned district completed on or before 8 July 2019
Age limit for ARS : 21 year to 32 year as on 1 January
2020
Age Limit for NET 2017 – minimum 21 y ears as on 1 January

Selection Procedure for ARS
Selection of the eligible candidates for Agricultural
scientist posts will be based on through the preliminary examination which will
be qualifying nature, mains examination and personal interview test. Final merit
list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Mains
examination and personal interview test. Written test will be held online.

Negative marking will be applicable in ARS examination. For
each in correct answer 1/3 marks will be deducted as negative marking. The
candidates who obtain following minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary
Examination will be allowed to appear in the ARS (Main) Examination in the ratio
of 1:15 (category-wise) for each post.

ARS mains examination pattern:
All those candidates who will be declared qualified in the
Preliminary examination they will be call for main examination. ARS will have
only one question paper which will carry total 240 marks. Candidates will get 3
Hours time duration for attempting the question paper. Question paper will be
divided in 23 sections and each section contains 40 questions. Each question of
section A will carry 2 marks, this question will be short type question and
maximum limit will be 10 words per question.
Part 2 contains 20 questions and each question will carry 5
marks. Candidates are required to give answer in one or two paragraph maximum
with explanation.
Part C will contain 6 questions and each question will carry
10 marks. Question of part C will be descriptive type. Answers are required to
be written in the space

Written Examination for ASRB NET
Question paper pattern: their will be one question paper in
NET. Question paper will carry 150 marks for 150 objective type questions. Each
question will carry 1 marks.
Question will be asked from respective discipline.
Negative marking will be applicable. for each incorrect
answer 1/3 marks will be deducted as a negative marking.

Restriction on applying for the examination
Applicant who has already declared qualified ARS examination
(finally selected) in the earlier year will not be eligible to compete in the
subsequent examinations conducted by ASRB for the same discipline in which
he/she has earlier qualified.
