Department of Personal, Chandigarh administration published the official recruitment notification for the recruitment to the posts of Clerk, lower Division Clerks LDC, stenographer, typist for Chandigarh administration. Application form is invited online through the chdrectt2019 in/ from 30 September 2019. Selected candidates for the posts of clerks and steno typist will be appointed in the pay scale of rs 10300-34800 and grade pay of rs 3200. Cadre) and Lower Division Clerks and Steno-Typists in Engineering Department, U.T., Chandigarh in the pay scale of Rs.6400-20200 + 3400 Grade Pay (Initial pay Steno-Typist Rs.10100/-) on regular basis .

 Eligibility Criteria: education qualification: Graduation degree in proficiency in computer and 35 wpm typing speed in English. 

Steno typist: 80 words per minute in Stenography (English) and a speed of 20 words per minute in transcription the same on Computer.

Age limit: minimum 18 maximum 37 year as on  1 January 2019

Selection Procedure:

Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination followed skill test. 

Question paper pattern for Clerk and LDC posts as are following 

Written examination will carry total 200 marks. Question paper will contain 2 question papers which will carry 100 marks each. Total 2 hours time duration will be given for attempting the each question paper.  Negative marking will be applicable in this examination for each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as a minus marking.  question will be asked from following subject

First Paper - (Morning Session

English (Upto 12th level) – 40 marks

General Knowledge -- 40 marks

Computer Proficiency Test -- 20 marks

Second paper – (Evening Session)

Mathematics (upto 10th level) –40 marks

Statistics - (-do-) -- 30 marks

Aptitude (Reasoning Verbal & Non-verbal ) --30 marks

2. Typing Test on Computer @ 35 words per minute -- Only Qualifying Test (No marks/  Weightage)

3. Stenography Test in English at the speed of 80 w.p.m. in Stenography and 20 words per minute to transcript the same on computer - Only Qualifying Test (No marks/

all interested candidates can fill application form online at the official website of chdrectt2019.  Candidates desirous for filling application form for clerk comppn cadre may also give the option for consideration against the post of Lower Division Clerk (Engineering Department similarly the candidates applying for Steno-Typists (Common Cadre) may also give an option for consideration against the post of Steno- Typist (Engineering Department). Such candidates will also be charged single fee for both posts.
