Union public service commission published the official recruitment notification Examination Notice .4/2022.CDS-I DATED 22.12.2021 dated 22 December 2021 for inviting online application form for Combined defense services examination 1 2022 . All interested candidates who want fill application form of Sangh lok sewa ayog sammilit rakshak sewa bharti pariksha 2022 they can fill application form online at the official website of UPSC. Official notification is also published in employment News , Rozgar samachar of 22 December 2021 edition . There are 100 posts for IMA, 45 posts for INA , 32 posts for AFA, 225 posts for OTA and 12 posts for OTA Chennai . Selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the national level written examination. Commission will held all India level combined defense service recruitment examination 10 April 2022 at various examination centers. Eligibility Criteria: only male candidates can fill application form for CDS Vacancies . However women / Female candidates are eligible for OTA only . They should give OTA as their first and Only preference.

Education qualification: For IMA and OTA – graduation degree

Written examination Question paper pattern for UPSC CDS 1 2021:
First of all a written exam will be held for CDS recruitment. Written examination will comprise following topics.
For the admission to IMA, INA and air force academy
- English - 2 hours - maximum 100 marks
- General knowledge – 100 marks
- Elementary mathematics – 100 marks
For the admission to officer training academy
- Time Duration – 2 hour for each question paper
- English 100 marks
- General knowledge - 100 marks
Negative marking will be applicable In this examination. The maximum marks allotted to the written examination and to the personal interview will be equal for each course. 300 marks interview will carry for IMa, INA, AFA and 200 marks for interview will carry for OTA.
All questions will be objective type and MCQ based. Question paper medium will be Hindi and English language.
STANDARD AND SYLLABUS OF THE EXAMINATION STANDARD
The standard of the papers in Elementary Mathematics will be of Matriculation level.
The standard of papers in other subjects will approximately be such ax may be expected of a graduate of an Indian University.
SYLLABUS ENGLISH
The question paper will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of English and workmanlike use of words.
General Knowledge including knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The paper will also include questions on History of India and Geography of a nature which candidate should be able to answer without special study.
ELEMENTARY ARITHMETIC Mathematics
Number System Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and Real numbers. Fundamental operations addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, Square roots, Decimal, fractions. Unitary method, lime and distance, time and work, percentages, applications to simple and compound interest, profit and loss, ratio and proportion, variation.
Elementary Number Theory- Division algorithm. Prime and composite numbers. Tests of divisibility by 2,3,4.5,9 and 11. Multiples and factors. Factorization Theorem. H.C.F. and LC.M. Euclidean algorithm, Logarithms to base tO, laws of logarithms, use of logarithmic tables.
ALGEBRA
Basic Operations, simple factors, Remainder Theorem, H.C.F., LC.M. Theory of polynomials, solution of quadratic equations, relation between its roots and coefficients (Only real roots to be considered). Simultaneous linear equations in two unknowns-analytical and graphical solutions. Simultaneous linear equation in two variables and their solution. Practical problems leading to two simultaneous linear equations or inequafions in Two variables or quadratic equations in one variable & their solutions. Set language and set notation, Rational expressional and conditional identities, Laws of indices.
TRIGONOMETRY
Sines, cosines, Tangents when 0°<s a 9e°Veluee of sins, cos send tans, tars = 0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°
Simple trigonometric identities. Use of trigonometric tables.

GEOMETRY
Lines and angles, Plane and plane figures, Theorems on (I) Properties of angles at a point (ii) Parallel lines, (iii) Sides and angles of a triangle, (iv) Congruency of triangles. (v) Similar triangles, (vi) Concurrence of medians and altitudes, (vii) Properties ol angles, sides and diagonals of a parallelogram, rectangle and square (viii) Circlex and its properties including tangents and normal, (ix) Loci.
MENSURATION
Areas of squares, rectangles, parallelograms, triangle and circle. Areas of figures which can be split up Into these figures (Field Book), Surface area and volume of cuboids, lateral surface and volume of right circular cones and cylinders, surface area and volume of spheres.
STATISTICS
Collection and tabulation of statistical data, Graphical representation, frequency polygons, histograms, bar charts, pie charts etc. Measures of central tendency.
SSB Interview test details: SSC will conduct interview test for all those candidates who will be declared qualified in the written examination. SSC interview test will comprise two selections. Stage 1 comprise officer intelligence rating OIR and picture perception discrimination Test PP and DT . stage 2 comprise personal interview test, Group Testing officer task , Psychology Test and the conference .
