Chatravitti yojana (Scholarship Scheme in Uttar Pradesh )
“Educational Development (shaikshik vikas) is the key of all the development “, keeping this statement in mind Government has started a scheme for weaker sections (nirbal varg), which is related to scheduled caste (SC /ST) students .for the class standard one to ten (1-10) this scheme is known as purvdasham yojana (purvdasham scheme ) and dashmottar Chatravitti yojana (Dashmottar Scholarship Scheme) is for above the class 10th and the students who are perusing Professional course . According to this scheme fee will be paid by government for concerned School /Collage / Institute /University for Professional course such as Engineering , Medical , Management etc .

According to this scheme UP Government provide Chatravitti for those students who are studding in class one to eight (1-8) . For getting this Chatravitti students don’t need to show income limits . scheme is state funded for all category of the students .

This scheme is related to class standard one to ten (1-10) .General category people who are living their life below the poverty line BPL , whose annual income is Rs 19884/- (rural area) and Rs 25546/- (urban area) per family , they are able to get this scholarship . .all scheme is state funded (raajy vitt poshit) .
Dashmottar Chatravitti and pravesh shulk pratipurti yojna (Dashmotter Scholarship and Entry fee reimbursement scheme)
This scheme is related to above the class standard 10th for SC/ST/General category students, whose family income is Rs 100000/- annually. Scheme’s starting year is 2007(at the time of 10th Five Year Plan) and this scheme is 100% funded by the central government.

Rajkeeya Ashram paddhati Vidyalaya
This scheme was started in the middle of the decade 1960-1970 . This type of schools are useful for poor families, they cannot fulfill their children’s minimum need . In this type of scheme government provide free education ,home ,cloth , food etc. this scheme is spread all over 47 districts in U.P ., total no. of schools are 80 , in which 57 are running very well and 23 are still under process . 26,525 students can get the admission in 57 running such schools . All the schools have been recognized till class 12th at the end of October 2008
Anusuchit jati chatrawas nirman yojana (SC hostel building plan)
SC (scheduled caste ) students (both for girls and boys) always suffer from residential problem during studies ,for solving this problem hostels are build in our UP . 252 hostels are approved for solving this problem ,in which 168 hostels have been built . now a days it is running very well . 141 hostels are for boys and 27 hostels are for girls . 52 hostels were completed till 31st March 2009 and rest of 32 are still under process .

4(A) Pre Preparation coaching center for state level / higher level government services
Students are able to get free coaching facility in UP, who are belonging to SC/ST and other backward classes for different competitive examination by the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute.
(B) Before examination coaching facility is given by the brilliant coaching institute for general category poor family’s children.
5. Merit ucchikrit yojana
This scheme is 100% funded by the central government. According to this scheme special type of coaching facility is provided for SC/ST students from class 9th to 12th. Now a days this scheme is running in 6(six) government inter colleges, which are Allahabad, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Moradabad, and Agra. According to this Remedial coaching is for class 9th and 10th standard and special coaching in professional courses for class 11th and 12th.
6 ITI institutes for the welfare of SC , ST : (Government Industrial institutions, Conducted by the Department for the Welfare of Scheduled Castes)
This scheme is related to establishing Industries at urban areas in UP by SC people . there are nine (9) industrial institutions are running in different Districts by the department which are Rampur, Ghazipur ,Fatehpur , Hardoi, ranopali (faizabad) kalpe (jallone) muzaffarnagar ramnagar (varanasi) and badayu.
7. Vridhavastha Pension Yojana (Old Age Pension Scheme)
This scheme is related to Below Poverty Line families. According to this Old Age Pension Scheme , Rs 300/- per month provided for all the people having age more than 60 years. This scheme is 100% funded by the state government for the age limit 60 -65 years. Two third by the central government and one third by the state government for the age more than 65 years.
8. Rastriya Parivarik Labh Yojana (National Family Benefit Scheme)
According to this scheme the people who are living their life below poverty line are able to get Rs 20,000/- only if the main member (bread earner) of the family will get died having age in between 18 to 64 years .
9. Atyachar utpidan yojana (Atyachar utpidan plan)
According to this plan government provide financial help for minimum Rs 15,000.00/- to maximum Rs 200,000.00/- in Various stages , for those people who has suffered any type of tyranny but this financial help is always distributed on the basis of the nature of torture/tyranny . Financial help distribution is set on the basis of government order date 17-10-1995.

10. Shadi / Bimari Anudan yojana (Wedding / illness grant scheme)
This scheme was started from the year 1982-83. Families, who are living their life below the poverty line are the beneficiary. Poverty line is always decided on the basis of a scale, for urban areas it is Rs 25546/- and for rural areas it is Rs 19884/- . According to this scheme there is financial help for marriage of Rs 10,000/- (but for Bundelkhand it is Rs 20,000/-) and for illness of Rs 5000/-.

11. Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Dwara Sanchalit Nihshulk Boring Yojana (Free Boring scheme run by the Social Welfare Department)
According to this Free Boring scheme, scheduled caste (SC) people, who are living their life below the poverty line can make the Boring in Plains-dwelling areas of small and marginal farmers.

Chatravitti yojana (Scholarship Scheme)
In financial year 2008-09 Rs 1423.02/- crore were decided in budget for Purwdasham and Dashmotter scholarship scheme , from which Rs 1324.00/- crore has been distributed , Rs 636.00/- crore for scholarship and Rs 514.00/- crore for Reimbursement of the fee has been given . Rs 568.88/- crore has been distributed among 1.26 crore students, which is more than 90 % . Last year 136 lakh students have found scholarship. Total Rs 105.79/- crore has been distributed for fee reimbursement.
Vridhavastha Pension Yojana (Old Age Pension Scheme)
In financial year 2008-09 Rs 1451.15/- crore were distributed for this scheme, which has been distributed among districts, the no. of beneficiaries by this scheme is 38,19,908 people and total target for this year is 42,12,223 people . Last date for doing it 100% is 30thNovember . There are two parts for distributing Vridhavastha pension, first one from April to September and second one from October to March. Approximately 13 Lakh new pensioner has been benefited in this year by this scheme.
