STATE SELECTION BOARD DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION BHUBANESWAR
(SSB ODISHA) has announced a notification Advertisement no. (Vigyapan
sankhya)-001/2015 for recruiting 1625
(one thousand six hundred twenty five) post of Lecturers for the non-government
aided colleges of Odisha. Candidates can fill the form only in ON-LINE mode
through the Official WEBSITE SSBODISHA which is www.ssbodisha.nic.in.
Pay scale for the post of lectures will be of Rs 9300/- to Rs 34,800. vacancies has been published for 28 subjects
such as ANTHROPOLOGY, BIO- TECHNOLOGY, HINDI, HOME SCIENCE, IRPM, LAW, LOGIC
& PHILOSOPHY, MATHEMATICS, ODIA, PHYSICS, POLITICAL SCIENCE, PSYCHOLOGY, PUBLIC
ADMINISTRATION, SANSKRIT, SOCIOLOGY, STATISTICS, TELUGU, ZOOLOGY, BOTANY, CHEMISTRY,
COMMERCE, COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGLISH, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, GEOGRAPHY, GEOLOGY
and HISTORY. Candidate must have age in between 21 years to 42 years. All eligible
candidates can fill online application form from 15.1.2016. Last date of online

Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification /
- Candidates are able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must
- Master Degree in related subject with at least 55% marks.
- Or Bachelor Degree with at least 55% marks.
Age Limit as on 1st October 2015
Minimum age -21 years and Maximum age -42 years (for
General)
upper age limit relaxation of FIVE years is acceptable in
case of all in-service lecturers of private, aided and non-aided colleges so
the upper age limit of such candidates will be 47 years as on 1st October 2015.
Selection Procedure / Examination Pattern
There are three sections and total marks will be 200.
Educational Career- 75 marks
Written -100 marks (related subject) - Objective Type
(Multiple Choice)
Viva Voce -25 marks
Examination Center:Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar,
Cuttack and
Sambalpur
Application Fee/ Fee Structure:Rs 500/- for unreserved category
Rs 200/- for scheduled castes/ Scheduled tribes (SC/ST) and
PwDs (Public Work Department)
