Delhi Home Guard job recruitment Notification 2022

Director general of home Guard, now going to publish the official recruitment Notification for filling posts of 6943 posts of Home Guards (Griha Rakshak samanya) . Generally home guard are appointed for 3 years. After that service duration will be extended upto 6 years on the basis of work and physical health of home guard.

Total no of vacancies : 6943

Eligibility criteria : only citizens of Delhi can fill application form for Home Guard posts .

Education qualification:  High School  pass

Age limit: Minimum 20 year and maximum 47 year as on date of publishing the official notification.

Height of Male candidate: 165 Cm and Female candidates 150 CM .

Selection Procedure: selection of the eligible candidates will be based on through the written examination followed by physical efficacy test .

Question paper pattern as are following: written test : written test will be objective type and CMQ based.  Written test will carry maximum 80 marks. All question will related from CBSE board high school level syllabus . ex service man are exempted from written test.  

Pattern of the written test will be as are following

The written test will comprise 80 objective type questions which will carry 1 marks for each correct answer. 90 minutes will be given for attempting the questions.  Difficulty level will be matriculation level of CBSE board.

Question will be asked from following subject

• Mathematics,
• General science
• General intelligence and reasoning
• History culture and geography of Delhi
• Constitution of India
• Ancient Indian   history  and culture
• Geography and general knowledge
• Current affairs

 Question paper will be set in Hindi and English language. 

Candidates are required to score at least 28 marks ie 35% marks in the written for declared qualified for state II. 

Physical efficacy Test : race ;  for Male candidates 1000 Meter , and 800 meter for female within 5 minutes and 30 second. 

Weightage will be given fro NCC certificate holder  , experience of home guard for 3 year , etc

Application form fee :  rs 100 . Candidates are required to pay their application form fee through demand draft or you can also purchase application form in cash mode.  Demand draft will be made in favor of DDO director general of home guard payable at Delhi .
