IBPS Bank PO exam Question paper analysis
IBPS bank PO preliminary exam started from ........... IBPS conducted online examination on different slot on 13 October.
IBPS Online examination will carry maximum 100 marks for 100 questions. Total 1 hour time duration was given for attempting the question paper.
Negative marking is applicable in the pre examination. For each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted as a minus marking.
Questions were asked from following subjects
English Language:
Total 30 questions were asked from this section. Questions were moderate level of difficulty. Total 5 questions were asked from reading questions. Questions of reading comprehension were moderate level of difficulty. Questions of the reading comprehension were based on economy. 5 questions were related from para jumbles which were easy to moderate level of the difficulty. 10-10 questions from each were asked from error sporting and cloze test which was easy to moderate level of difficulty. Questions of the cloze test were also related from economy. This time IBPS not asked any questions from fill in the blanks, synonym-antonym, Sentence Correction in morning shift of...................Candidates easily attempted the questions asked from Para-Jumbles and Error Spotting.
If you attempted 18- 20 questions from English section, then I think you can easily score 16-18 marks from this section.
The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to difficult.

IBPS asked 35 questions from reasoning section. Questions of the reasoning were easy to moderate level difficulty. Maximum no of questions was related from logical reasoning. In Circular Seating Arrangement, 5 people were seated facing inward while 3 were seated facing outward. In Linear Seating Arrangement, 8 people facing South. Blood Relation and Puzzle based questions required a smart approach. Syllogism questions were easy to solve. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate.

questions of the math section were easy to moderate level of the difficulty. Total 35 questions were asked from this section. IBPS asked questions of mathematics from different subject. Maximum no of questions was related from Time and Work, Mensuration, Probability, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Percentage, Age, Mixtures & Allegations and Profit, Loss and Discount. There was 1 set each of Table Based Data Interpretation which was calculation intensive and Line Graph based Data Interpretation which was of moderate difficulty level.
If you attempted 18-20 questions from mathematics section then you can easily score 16-18 marks from quantitative aptitude section.
