State government of uttar pradesh now changed the syllabus and examination pattern of UP police constable and head constable recruitment examination. Amendment of up police Aarkshi, Mukhya aarkshi bharti pariksha has been passed by the Up Cabinet.
Previous state government has decided to fill constable post through the High school and Intermediate marks percentage. Now new government has decided to fill Sipahi, Mukhya Sipahi post through the written examination and physical test.
Final selection merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Likhit Bharti pariksha.
Revised and New Question paper pattern of Up Police Constable Posts / head constable
Written examination of constable posts will carry maximum 300 marks.
Their will be total 150 Question from Different subject.
Negative marking will be applicable in this examination. For each incorrect answer 0.5 marks will be deducted as a minus marking.
Written examination will be held online through computer based mode.
All questions will be objective type and MCQ based.
Examination will be held in different shift and Normalization formula will be used for preparation of the merit.
Physical efficiency test PET (sharirik dakshata pariksha) will be qualify nature only. No marks of the PET test will be added in final merit list preparation. Previously it was proposed that PET test marks will be added in merit preparation.

PET test: government also changed the rule of Physical efficiency test.
Now Male candidates are required to complete 8 km race in 25 minutes.
Female candidates are required to complete the 2.4 Km race in 14 Minutes.
Government now also suspends the rule of conducting a separate examination for male and female constable. Now a single examination will be held for all applicants for all posts.
Selected constable posts will be appointed din the pay scale rs 5200 -20200 and grade pay of rs 2000.

Quantitative aptitude / Numerical Ability – 75 marks
Number System, Simplification, Decimals and Fraction , Highest common factor and lowest common multiple , Ratio and Proportion, Percentage - , Profit and Loss-, Discount, Simple interest, Compound interest, Partnership, Average, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Use of Tables and Graphs- , Mensuration-, Miscellaneous
Total – 300 marks
Difficulty of the written examination will be Intermediate level.

Minimum qualifying marks – Candidates are required to score at least 35% marks in the Online examination.
