Posts name: Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) under Social Welfare Dept., Govt. of Bihar

Number of vacancy: 55 posts 

Salary: pay scale 9300 – 34800 grade pay rs 4800 (7th pay commission 53100-167800 Level 9)

Eligibility criteria: education qualification: graduation degree

Age limit as on 1 august 2022:  minimum 21 year and maximum male UR 37 year, OBC, EBC, Female - 40 year , SC / ST 42 year

Selection procedure: selection of the eligible candidates for BPSC CDPO examination will be based on through the written examination preliminary and mains examination.

Question paper pattern and syllabus of the written examination as are following

Preliminary examination: their will be only one question paper in the written examination. Written test of CDPO pre examination will carry 150 marks.   Total 2 hr time duration will be given for attempting the question paper.  All question of the written examination will be objective type and MCQ based.

 

Mains examination:  

Compulsory subject and marks with time duration

1 – General Hindi – 100 marks – 3 hr time duration

2 – General study question paper 1 – 300 marks   - 3 hr time duration

3 – General study question paper 2 – 300 marks – 3 hr time duration

Optional subject: any one of following subject – 300 max marks, 3 hr time duration

All questions will be objective type and MCQ based. 

1 - Home science 

2 - Psychology

3 - Sociology   

4- Labor and social welfare

Minimum qualifying cutoff marks - 40% for general category, OBC – 36.5 %, EBC 34 % , SC /ST/ Female / PWD – 32 %

Syllabus of the optional subject will be similar as Pattern of Patna University 3 year honors syllabus of concerned subject.
