Staff selection commission recently published the official recruitment Notification for inviting online application form for junior engineer post.
SSC will be conducting a written examination for the recruitment of junior engineer group Non Gazetted post. Selected junior engineer will be appointed in the level 6 (rs 35400 - 112400) of pay matric of 7th CPC.

SSC junior engineer will comprise two question papers.

Paper 1 of SSC junior engineer examination will be objective type and MCQ based.  Most probably paper 1 of SSC JE examination will be held from march 2021. Questions of JE examination will be held online through Computer based mode.

SSC JE Paper will comprises questions from general intelligence reasoning 50 Question, general Awareness 50 questions and general engineering 100 Question. Each question will carry 1 mark.  Total 2 hr time duration will be given for attempting the question paper. Morning shift examination will be held from 10 am to 12 Noon, and evening shift examination will be held from 2 pm to 4 Pm

Part C of general engineering Subject will contains 100 questions from (Civil & Structural)  OR

Part-B General Engineering (Electrical)

OR

Part-C General Engineering (Mechanical) .

In Paper-I and Paper-II for General Engineering, the candidate will be required to attempt only the part as per option given candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer(Quantity Surveying & Contract) should attempt Part A (Civil & Structural) of Paper-I and Paper-II and the candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) should attempt Part-B (Electrical) and the candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) should attempt Part C (Mechanical) of Paper-I and Paper-II failing which his/her answer sheet (Paper-II) will not be evaluated. Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions only. Candidates who are short listed on the basis of performance in Paper –I will be called for Paper-II (Conventional Type).
