The Bihar Assembly Secretariat has issued notification for recruitment of various posts. This is great news for all those eligible people who were waiting for the Bihar Legislative Assembly Secretariat's recruitment. Notification for recruitment of various posts of Bihar Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, Assistant Librarian, Assistant, Urdu Assistant, Research Reference Assistant, Urdu Translator, Translators English Hindi and Assistant Legislator. Two different ads have been issued. Under the second advertisement, 17 posts of Junior Clerk will be recruited, while through the advertisement no 1 following posts will be recruited. All eligible individuals can fill their applications according to the dates given below. Applications for this recruitment are being invited online. All the candidates have to fill their application with the official website of the Bihar Vidhan sabaha Sachivalaya. After filling the application, a written examination will be conducted for the candidates and it will be held in the third week of December. Details of ad number 1 posts are given below.

Details of academic qualifications Eligibility Criteria
Assistant- -graduate degree
Research References Assistant - Bachelor in Library Science and Post Graduation Degree with any Subject
Library Assistant - Bachelor in Library Science and Post Graduation Degree
Urdu Assistant - Urdu must be a subject of language in graduation or undergraduate from a recognized university of the Central Government.
Urdu translator - Bachelor's degree or any degree in Urdu, in which Urdu should be as a subject
Translator English-Hindi-undergraduate degree with English as a language
Assistant - Graduate Degree
Applicants having the requisite academic qualifications can not fill the application form for recruitment in more than one position. For this, there is no need for individual applications to apply for separate posts.
For this, filling the registration form in the order of filling the registration form for the individuals, have to check the box is displayed in the box next to the relevant positions shown on the basis of educational qualification, and it will also be considered as a candidate applied for it.
Age limit description
Minimum age of 21 years
For maximum age Limit –
UR male, 37 years,
Unreserved women belonging to backward classes and extremely backward classes -40 years.
SC/ Scheduled Tribe male and female
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. The examinations will be conducted in two phases. First of all, a computer-based preliminary examination will be organized.
The main examination will be conducted for the candidates who passed the preliminary examination. The main examination will be the descriptive examination. A computer based examination will be taken on the basis of the same for all posts.
Preliminary examination question paper pattern and syllabus
All questions of the preliminary examination will be of type of objective. Candidates will be given a total of 2 hours to answer the questions. The questions will be asked for various subjects in the examination, which will have maximum 400 marks. 4 points will be given on the right question and for each wrong answer 1 marks will be deducted a as a minus marking. The medium of examination will be both Hindi and English. Questions of this examination will be asked in the following topics
- General Studies- 40 Questions
- General Science and Mathematics - 30
- Mental Ability and Reasoning-30
It is mandatory for all the candidates to get minimum marks in the examination. Minimum Qualifying marks are given below.
- 40% for the general category,
- 36.5% for backward class,
- 34% for extremely backward class,
- 32% for Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe women and physically handicapped candidates

General science and mathematics - questions will be asked about the following topics in general matriculation.
General Science - Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
Mathematics- number system algebra, interrelationship between decimal and different numbers, basic figures, mathematical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, interest and profit loss,
Mental ability and logical reasoning
Main examination details
Candidates will be called for the main exam on the basis of marks obtained in the initial examination. A total of 10 times of the candidates will be called for examination for the total posts. The main examination will be Duty.
