State Level National Talent Search Examination STSE UP(First Selection) Examination: -
This examination is conducted in all the districts of the state on third Sunday in the month of November. Institutional students studying In class 10, who have passed 55% or more (for the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, 44% or more) in the Class-9 examination, are eligible for the application. This examination is held free of cost. Examination is also being conducted for the candidates who have passed the examination in class 09 from Class- 9 and passed in the class-8 with the prescribed marks percentage as above. Class 10 level examinations will be over from 2009, only Class-08 level examination will be held. In both the level exams, 40 percent for the candidates of general category and 32 percent for the reserved category have been set minimum qualifying cutoff marks. Examination application forms are sent to the examination centers set up by the Director, Psychologist, Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad, at the district headquarters for free delivery to the test takers.
This examination is organized for economically weaker children. The main purpose of this examination is to encourage weak children to study and to bring their hidden talent forward. National Talent Search Examination NTSE is being done this year too. The preparations for the examination are almost complete throughout the state. Examination Regulatory Authority Secretary (Pariksha niyamak pradhikari) has decided to complete 99 examination centers for this examination, where about 44000 candidates will be appeared. The list of centers in the district has been finalized. 43974 candidates have applied for the National Talent Search Examination. This examination will be conducted from 8:00 to 12:00.
1 hour will be given for those who uses braille writing. This examination will be held simultaneously on November 4 in the entire state. A total of 3 centers have been set up in Prayagraj district. Here, 795 in Government Inter-College, 7 99 in CAV Inter College, 607 candidates will participate in KP Inter College.
