Good news is coming for the Arogya Mitra of the state government. Government is going to double the honorarium of Arogya Mitra. The government has given a very nice gift of Diwali to the Arogya Mitra working in the state. Now they will get an Mandey of ₹ 10000 per month instead of ₹ 5000. 1400 Arogya Mitra have been deployed in about 1100 hospitals. Under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, the state government has appointed Arogya Mitras in various hospitals.
While giving the gift of Deepawali, their honorarium has been doubled. Now, Arogya Mitra will receive an honorarium of ₹ 10000 per month instead of ₹ 5000 per month. A total of 1400 Arogya Mitra will be benefited in 1100 hospitals of the state.
The mandate to increase the honorarium has been issued. The respective hospitals pay their mandey to the Arogya Mitra. Increased honorarium is paid to Arogya Mitras from whatever payment is received under the scheme after hospital treatment.
According to an official associated with the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, most government hospitals have an Arogya Mitra deployment, but large institutions like KGMU and SGPGI and more than one Arogya Mitra have also been deployed in medical colleges.
These employees have been deployed in hospitals to help the beneficiary of Ayushman Yojana. Arogya Mitra also helps in finding the beneficiary's name in the list and helps in their treatment.
