UPPSC: more than half have left the Assistant Engineer recruitment examination

More than half the candidates left the Combined State Engineering Services Preliminary Examination-2022 conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Sunday 14 December for the recruitment of 692 Assistant Engineer posts in various departments. 41.01 percent candidates appeared in the examination. One lakh 37 thousand 608 candidates had applied for the Combined State Engineering Services Examination. The examination was conducted in two shifts from nine in the morning to 11.30 and in the afternoon from two to 4.30 in the afternoon. 57 thousand 25 candidates appeared in the first shift examination and 56 thousand 428 candidates appeared in the second shift. For examination, 80 centers were established in five districts Prayagraj, 61 in Agra, 71 in Ghaziabad, 30 in Gorakhpur and 56 in Lucknow. Agra centers had the least presence at 32.8 percent. 27 thousand 357 candidates were registered for the examination in Agra.

At the same time, 37 percent of the 37 thousand 347 candidates registered in Prayagraj, 47.8 percent of the 13 thousand 926 candidates registered in Gorakhpur, 44.22 percent of the 32 thousand 315 candidates registered in Ghaziabad and 47.59 percent of the 26 thousand 663 candidates registered in Lucknow. Got it done. During the examination, candidates of the Mechanical Engineering Second Citation were allowed to come in a non-programmable calculator.

Merit will be decided from Hindi, General Studies questions

Merit of the Combined State Engineering Services Examination will be decided by the questions of Hindi and General Studies.

In the first question, 25 questions were asked from General Hindi and 100 questions from the subject, while in the second question, 25 questions were asked from General Studies and 100 questions from the subject.

The candidates had arrived properly by preparing their respective subjects, but the questions of General Hindi and General Studies were the same for all.

In such a situation, merit is expected to be decided only by general Hindi and general studies questions.

Paper was balanced, changed the trend of asking questions

Candidates said that both the papers were balanced and this time the Commission has changed the trend of asking questions. Candidates say that many questions are often asked, which have also appeared in any other examination, but this was not the case in this examination. All the questions were asked in a new way and also at the level.
