Age Limit Details

The minimum age limit for the post of Anganwadi Worker, Mini Anganwadi Worker and Sahayika has been set at 21 years. Maximum age should not be more than 45 years.

 

The maximum age limit for selection from Anganwadi Assistant to the post of Anganwadi Worker will be 50 years.

Regarding age, the school issued certificate of Anganwadi worker, Mini Anganwadi center worker for high school certificate and class 5 for assistant will be valid.

After attaining the age of 62 years, their honorarium services will end automatically.

 

Eligibility for selection

Firstly, the assistant of the Central Gram Sabha in the concerned rural area and in the same ward in the urban area, who has completed 5 years of minimum service and has passed high school and is not more than 50 years of age, will be given preference.

In the selection of the post of assistant worker to the worker, care will be taken that in no case reservation is affected.

Anganwadi worker appointment of mini Anganwadi worker and assistant will be given first priority to family members living below poverty line.

According to the Social Welfare Department, family income of 46060 in rural areas and 56460 in urban areas is the determinant of poverty line.

In case of non-availability of assistants, a widow woman living below poverty line will be given preference, resident of the same gram sabha or same ward.

In the absence of a widow woman, a divorced or abandoned woman living below the poverty line in the same gram sabha or ward will get preference.

It will be compulsory for the Anganwadi worker and assistant and mini Anganwadi worker to reside in the same Gram Sabha in the rural area and the same ward in the urban area.

 In respect of income, the residence certificate issued by the Deputy Collector / Tehsildar will be valid only.

 

How to apply

The process of application and selection will be completed by the concerned District Officer. An online software will be made available by Director Child Development Services and Nutrition Uttar Pradesh and after the advertisement is published, the selection process will be completed in 45 days.

How will merit be prepared
