Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is going to conduct preliminary screening test for various recruitment exams. This will be a common screening test, in which the passed candidates will get the opportunity to appear in various recruitment examinations. Candidates who have passed this screening test will be declared to have passed for the main examination. The Subordinate Services Selection Commission is going to conduct screening test for recruitment to various Group C posts like Clerk, Assistant and so on.

There is a possibility that English questions may also be included in the preliminary examination, for which the government has given in-principle approval of the possible syllabus. The course will be uploaded on the Commission's website as soon as it gets formal approval. Apart from this, it will also be uploaded on the official website of UPjob.in.

For the convenience of the candidates, the Service Selection Commission will also upload the model paper which we will provide you here, so that your preparation can be done easily.

The Subordinate Services Selection Commission conducts recruitment examinations. Such a possibility was being expressed, now English questions will also ask in the paper. English questions will also be asked in the Preliminary Examination of the Commission. The 2-level examination system will be implemented in the new bharti of the Commission. Out of which the preliminary examination will be of qualified nature.

There is a possibility that a total of 5 marks questions may be included of the English subject. The reasoning behind this is that it makes it easy to understand the letter coming in English at the office, the High Court and the Supreme Court's decision.

According to the information, the preliminary examination will be of qualifying nature.

The maximum marks of examination will be 100. 1 marks will be prescribed for each question. Candidates will be given 120 minutes to solve the exam. Negative marking will also apply in this examination. A quarter mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The level of the paper will be of high school and intermediate levels of NCERT. As soon as the official syllabus, question paper will be released of Uttar Pradesh adhinasth sewa Chayan Ayog, we will first upload it on our website here.

Common Hindi unread passage based questions -15 Marks

General English unread passage based question - 5 marks

Mathematics Reasoning Question - 30 Marks

General Knowledge Science Questions based on current events - total 50 marks

Total time 120 minutes

Negative Marking – ¼ for Each Incorrect Answer

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Pickup Bhawan, has published Important notice regarding Syllabus and Question paper pattern of upcoming PET examination.

New application procedure and two-stage recruitment for Group 'C' posts under Government Orders, issued by Personnel Group C of Government of Uttar Pradesh Approval has been granted to adopt the examination system. Subsequently, approval has been granted on the program and syllabus of the preliminary qualifying examination under the mandate issued by Up Govt. The examination course approved by the government is published on the website of the Commission for the information of the public.
