More than 100 people have been banned from participating in public events in UP. After increasing cases of corona, a new guideline has been issued by the state government.
In view of the increasing corona cases in UP, officials have
been instructed to take strict action. The Yogi government has banned the
participation of more than 100 people in all public programs. In this regard,
issuing the guide line on Monday, it has been asked to strictly follow it.
Expressing displeasure over the increasing cases of Corona
infection, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the responsible officials
should take strict action against those who are negligent against the
increasing infection. Along with this, instructions have been given to ensure
adequate number of beds in Covid hospitals. It has been asked to maintain
effective mechanism for prevention and treatment of corona infection.
Covid Non Covid Hospitals have been asked to establish
effective treatment of all types of diseases. Along with this, ambulance
services have also been instructed to operate smoothly. Additional vigilance
has been directed in Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur.
Contact tracing is also said to be effective. Covid sampling has also been
asked to be done at full capacity. CM Yogi has instructed to carry out the
OPPCR test and increase the number of tests in the suspected case.
Strict instructions regarding panchayat elections
The Yogi government has also issued a guideline regarding
the three-tier panchayat elections to be held in the midst of the Corona
transition. Under this, ban has been imposed on gathering of more than 5 people
in any assembly. Instructions have also been given to strictly follow the
Corona Protocol. Strict action has been directed against those who violate the
Corona Protocol. Additional Chief Secretary Avnish Awasthi has sent a letter in
this regard to the District Magistrates and Senior Superintendents of Police of
all the districts.
It has been written in the letter that in view of the spread
of Kovid-19 in view of the Seven-tier Assembly Election 2022, it is necessary
that elections should be conducted with utmost care. He said that there should
be no gathering of more than 5 persons for public meeting to be held for
publicity in elections. Not only this, public food should also not be
allowed, which increases the risk of spreading the infection. For this, Section
144 should be imposed in all the districts as per the requirement. If any
person or organization violates it, then the strictest legal action should be
taken against it.
