Office of the Director General, School Education DGSE and State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Vidya Bhawan, Nishatganj, Lucknow-226007 has given instructions regarding RTE admission in its letter issued to the District Basic Education Officer, All District- Uttar Pradesh. Under this, free admission of poor children will be done in private schools. Applications for this will be filled on the website www.upefa com. Under Section 12 (1) (c) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009, children from disadvantaged groups and weaker sections are given online admission in class 1 and pre-primary classes. After the application, the students are selected through lottery.
Under Section 121 (c) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 vide Government Order No. 582/79-5-2016-29/2009 TC-11 dated 03rd March, 2009, children in unaided recognized schools are given class 1 / Detailed guidelines have been given to start the process for online application and lottery in pre-primary classes. Children are admitted in unaided recognized schools by the District Basic Education Officer.
1. The process of offline lotteries is being abolished from the year 2022-22. But the option of offline application will be given to the parents who are not able to apply online. Such offline applications received from parents will be fed online by the District Basic Education Officer / Block Education Officer.
2. The date of offline application from the guardian will be kept 5 days before the last date.
3. Please refer to the office letter number 7876 dated 15.122020 of Director General, School Education, in which instructions have been given for school registration. If a child is denied admission due to non-registration of any school falling under the standard, then it will be the responsibility of the concerned District Basic Education Officer / Block Education Officer.
4. The lottery of all these applications will be done together as per the prescribed time-table.
