Selection Process
For the selection of suitable candidates, objective type offline or online examination of the candidates may be conducted by the commission. In relation to the competitive examination, the above time is estimated and the date of the examination will be informed separately in due course of time on the website of the commission, press release in dailies and also through SMS and e-mail to the candidates on the mobile number given by them in the online application form. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the website of the commission itself. Admit cards will not be issued by the Commission through post.
Question Paper Pattern Syllabus
Post Wise Syllabus for Written Competitive Examination:
For selection there will be a written test of 02 hours objective type with multiple choice of 100 marks. The syllabus of the written examination will be of Inter Science level.
Written Competitive Exam - Cutoff Marks
(i) It is mandatory for the general and OBC category candidates to get 45 percent and for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category candidates to get 35 percent marks, otherwise they will be considered disqualified in the written examination.
(ii) In the written test question paper evaluation, 1 mark will be given for each correct answer and 1/4 negative mark will be given for each wrong answer.
(iii) Candidates will be allowed to carry the question booklet of the written examination with them after the examination.

How to apply
OTR (One Time Registration) has been made mandatory by the commission, candidates who have not filled OTR profiles, it is mandatory to fill OTR before filling the application form. The information or data entered in the OTR will form part of the application form, so before filling the application form, fill the OTR very carefully.
Before filling the application form, modify the OTR information by going to the Edit option of OTR.
Applicants can apply online through UKSSSC website www.sssc.uk.gov.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
Applicants must first visit the UKSSSC website and click on the link “OTR” to create their One Time Registration Profile.
Candidates are required to have valid e-mail id and mobile number to generate username.
It is mandatory for the candidate to deposit the following examination fee:

Unreserved (General) / Uttarakhand OBC - Rs.300/- only
Uttarakhand SC/Uttarakhand ST/Economically Weaker Section - Rs.150/- only
Disabled candidates of Uttarakhand - Rs 150/- only
