ANM, staff nurses will be posted in delivery, sub health centers and first referral unit
Under the National Health Mission (NHM), 400 ANMs and 94 staff nurses will be appointed on contract across the state for maternal health program. Those who will be posted in the delivery center, sub health center and first referral unit. On behalf of NHM, all the districts were ordered to appoint ANM and staff nurses on contract.
Under the National Health Mission, ANMs and Staff Nurses will be appointed on contract basis on vacant posts in Sub Health Center, Delivery Center and First Referral Unit (FRU). In this regard, NHM Mission Director Sonika has ordered all the districts to make appointments on contract.
An ANM will be appointed in the birth center and sub-health center for a population of three thousand in hilly areas and five thousand in plain areas.
The National Health Mission has also issued instructions issued to all the districts.
