Uttar Pradesh government is going to appoint Panchayat Assistant, Accountant cum Data Entry Operator in 58189 Gram Panchayats.
One Panchayat Assistant will be posted at each Gram Panchayat.
Selection will be done through merit on the basis of 10th and 12th marks.
Eligibility for Panchayat Assistant Recruitment
The candidate should be a resident of the same Gram Panchayat.
People in the age group of 18 to 40 years can apply.
Panchayat assistants will be hired on a one year contract basis.
Salary Details of Panchayat sahayak
Panchayat sahayak will get an honorarium of six thousand rupees per month.

Application forms will be submitted on plain paper to the Gram Panchayat or the concerned Development Block or District Panchayat Raj Officer office.

Panchayat Assistant Recruitment Selection Process
The Administrative Committee of the Gram Panchayat will prepare the eligibility list for the selection of Panchayat Assistant on the basis of percentage of marks in High School and Intermediate.
The candidate with the highest marks will be selected. Full details of the selected candidate will be sent to the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. After examining the eligibility of the candidate, the committee will recommend for appointment. If the candidate selected by the Gram Panchayat does not possess the prescribed qualification, then the committee of DM will ask the Gram Panchayat to select another candidate.
contract period
The contract of Panchayat Assistant will be for one year, if the services are found satisfactory, then after considering in the open meeting of the Gram Sabha, his contract can be extended by one year to two years. At the same time, if the work and conduct of the Panchayat Assistant is not satisfactory, the Gram Panchayat can take action against them. They can also be removed with one month's notice.
In this, the minimum age for applying should not be more than 18 years and maximum 40 years as on July 1.
SC, ST and OBC candidates will be given a relaxation of five years.
The government will provide two months training to the selected panchayat assistants.
Family members will get benefits in case of death due to corona:
If someone has died of corona in the Gram Panchayat, then from their family like wife or husband, son, unmarried daughter, widowed daughter, widow mother, unmarried brother, unmarried sister will be selected first.
If there is a Gram Panchayat of reservation category and the kin of the deceased fulfill that reservation category as well as they are intermediate pass then they will be selected.
In general category gram panchayats, the death benefit due to corona will be given to the general category families only.
If more than one application falls in this category then the selection will be done on the basis of merit.
