Bihar Police has invited applications for direct appointment to the post of constable under the Sports Policy, 2013 under advertisement number - 02/2021.

Educational Qualification of the Candidates
Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) on or before 01.07.2021 or
Maulvi Certificate issued by Madrasa Board of Bihar State or
Shastri (with English) issued by the Sanskrit Board of the State of Bihar or
Acharya (with English) certificate or
It is mandatory to pass any other equivalent examination recognized by the State Government.
Selection Process
Active sports persons will be appointed on the recommendation of the Talent Search Committee by the Special Sports Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Director General of Police, Bihar.
No written test will be conducted for the appointment of players. After verification of certificates, active players will take part in the selection trial.
The Selection Trial will determine the sportsmanship skills, physical/health fitness, future aspects of the candidates in sports.
The selection test will be conducted in the presence of the chairman and all the members of the talent search committee.
Marks will be determined as follows:
(i) Determination of Pre-Sports Achievement- 70 (Seventy Marks)
(ii) Assessment during selection tests 30 (Thirty Marks)
Candidates securing minimum 60 marks against total 100 marks will be considered eligible for appointment.
The principles of appointment from the eligible candidates will be adopted in such a way that preference is given to the candidates securing higher marks.
Merely securing 60 marks will not guarantee appointment.
Fee :-
For selection to the post of constable under Sports Quota, application fee of 700 / - (seven hundred)
for extremely backward class, backward class, economically weaker section and unreserved (general) category male and female candidates and SC and ST For male and female candidates, the application fee is fixed at Rs.400/- (four hundred),
which will be payable only through bank draft in the designation of Inspector General of Police, Bihar Military Police, Bihar, Patna.
