The process of recruitment of teachers is being completed very fast in the state. After waiting for three months, preparations are being made to conduct the written examination of teacher recruitment in Aided Junior High Schools in October. These exams were proposed in April itself but, due to Panchayat elections, the government had postponed. At the same time, UPTET 2022 is likely to be held in mid-December. The examination regulatory authority Uttar Pradesh has sent a proposal to the government, the order is expected to be issued this month.
A total of 1894 posts, including 1504 assistant teachers and 390 headmasters, are vacant in 3082 non-government aided junior high schools in the state. Online applications have been taken for both the posts. The examination was postponed due to Panchayat elections. Now it is ready to be done in the second week of October.
The Department of Basic Education has published advertisement for UP Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. UPTET 2022on May 11 and registration for online application started from May 18 and the last date was fixed for June 1. The process of increasing corona infection was postponed. The written examination to be held on July 25 is now set to be conducted in the second week of December.
