Direct recruitment of clerks in aided secondary colleges soon
Direct recruitment of clerks will start soon in 4512 aided secondary colleges of the state. After two years, the department has sought a report from the Divisional Joint Directors of Education in 15 days to fill the vacant posts. Appointment on class IV posts in colleges will be done through outsourcing only. In this, the rule of outsourcing will not apply on the recruitment of deceased teacher or non-teaching employee dependent during service.

On October 30, 2019, the Director of Secondary Education had given permission to fill the vacant posts of non-teaching staff in 26 aided secondary colleges, but at the same time the government directed that it should also be postponed till a transparent process is adopted regarding the selection. Several cases were filed in the High Court regarding this.
In such a situation, the government said on July 26 that the matter should be decided on the basis of merit. Now the Director of Education has sought a report in 15 days to start the recruitment process again.
