The state government is going to start a free tablet/smartphone distribution scheme for the digital empowerment of youth.
This is a big bet of the Yogi government to make the youth happy in the Vidhan Sabha elections 2022, which will start in the form of a grand celebration on the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This gift of the government will be presented to one lakh students from all the districts of the state in the distribution function to be held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in the capital. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will also launch Digi Shakti Portal and Digi Shakti Adhyayan App. Digi Shakti Adhyayan App is installed in all the smartphones and tablets given to the youth through which learning material will be made available to them. Information about employment-oriented schemes will also be given by the government through boot logo and wall paper. For this, the government is going to contract with IT company Infosys. 3900 programs related to education and employment of Infosys will be available free of cost to the youth.
