Jharkhand government has released the list of holidays for the year 2022, in which details of total holidays in state government offices, undertakings and nationalized banks have been given. Out of this, there will be a holiday under the section of NIACT. There will be a holiday for 14 days under the office order. At the same time, only one day i.e. April 1 will be a holiday for the annual bank account. But it will not be applicable in government offices.
Apart from this, it has been said in the order that in the year 2022, Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti – 23 January, Ram Navami – 10 April, Labor Day – 1 May, Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) – 10 July, Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday – 2. October, Dussehra (Mahasaptami) - October 2, Mahaashtami, Navami and Dashami will also be a holiday. Chhath – 30 October and Christmas – 25 December is falling on Sunday.
The government has not declared a separate holiday on the above dates. Also, establishments where Sunday happens to be a normal working day, there will be a holiday on that date.
