The Director of Education (Basic), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has sought information regarding payment of fees for the education of girls to all District Basic Education Officers, all Districts, Uttar Pradesh. According to letter number: SHN (B) / 54434-509, it has been announced by the honorable Chief Minister Yogi ji that the education of girls will be free. In relation to which the Government's announcement number YAN-8/2021 (CSS-GH11Y001234) dated 05-10-2021 (photocopy attached) has been issued, according to which if more than one family of a family living below the income limit set by the government If more girls are studying in any school, college or institution, then the tuition fee of the second girl child will either be waived by encouraging the institution or it will be reimbursed by the state government.
In this regard, it has been directed that if more than one girl child of a family is studying in the school, then the school administration should make every effort to waive the tuition fee of one girl child. If this is not possible, then the estimate of how much expenditure is possible on reimbursement of fees of such girls should also be made available so that according to the announcement of Hon'ble Chief Minister, budget provision / allocation of funds can be obtained from the government for reimbursement of their fees.
Kindly collect information on the following format from all the schools recognized by the Basic Education of your district from class 1 to 8 and make it available to this office within the given time limit.
