Smartphones and tablets will be distributed through 'DiGi Shakti' portal in Uttar Pradesh. All the beneficiary students can see the list of selection through 'Digi Shakti' portal. DG Shakti' Portal students name will be announced. After that the selected student will be provided the tablet in their district itself.

 Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is soon going to give a big gift to the youth to upgrade them technically. Distribution of free smartphones and tablets may start in all districts from the second week of January. For this a portal named 'Digi Shakti' has been created. CM will launch it soon.

 This will lead to distribution of smartphones and tablets and in future, educational materials will be made available to the students. There is no need to register anywhere to give free smartphones and tablets to the students. Their data is being fed through the university.

 Till Monday, the data of about 27 lakh students has been uploaded on the portal. On the other hand, many well-known companies have tendered for the supply of smartphones and tablets.

It is expected that the work order will be issued by the first week of January. The selected company will have to supply at least 2.5 lakh tablets and 5 lakh smartphones in the first lot.
