There is good news for the personnel working in the Transport Department of Uttar Pradesh. Roadways workers will also get 180 days maternity leave and child care leave.
There is good news for the women employees of UP State Road Transport Corporation (Roadways). Navdeep Rinwa, Managing Director of Transport Corporation has increased the period of maternity leave for women from 135 days to 180 days. MD has issued orders to this effect. Not only this, Child Care Leave,CCL which was not admissible in the Transport Corporation earlier, has been reduced to two years or 730 days. Its permission has been given by the government.
Hundreds of women employees of Transport Corporation will be benefited by these orders of MD Rinwa. Various employee organizations had been demanding this for a long time. The employees have welcomed this decision of the government.
